In this data privacy statement you will find the information about the way, the extent and the purpose of the data handling (cf. Art. 13, 14 and 21 of the data privacy statement (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)).

Provision of web sites and creation of log files

Description and extent of the data handling

With each access to our web site, the system gathers automatically data and information from the computer system of invoking computers.

Here, the following data will be obtained:

  • IP address of the invoking device
  • Name of the file, which got requested
  • Status (response) of the request (success and error code)
  • Size of the requested file in bytes
  • User agent (browser and operating system version)
  • Time stamp (date and time of access)
  • Referer (web site or URL, from which the request got set down)

This data will be saved in our system’s log files as well. A storing of this data with other personal data will not be proceeded.

Legal base for data handling

Legal base for the temporary data storage and log files is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR

Purpose of data handling

The IP address will be temporary saved by the system and is needed to enable the delivery to the user’s computer. Therefore, the user’s IP address has to be saved during the duration of session.

The storing in log files is made to ensure the web site’s functionality. Moreover, the data helps to optimise the web site and to ensure the guarantee of our information-technological systems. In this context, an evaluation of data for marketing purposes will not occur.

With this purpose, our justifiable interest lies in data handling according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR

Duration of storing

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve its purpose. In the case of collecting data to provide the web site, this is the case once the actual session is closed.

In the case of storing data in log files, this is the case after 7 days. The IP address will be anonymised in the course of a daily log rotation. A concrete identification is not producible.

The data capture to provide the web site and the data’s storing in log files, is essential for operating the web site. Therefore, the opportunity to appeal on the part of the user is not possible.

Booking form and email contact

Description and extent of the data handling

On our web site you have the option to transmit an electronic booking form. If a user is taking this possibility, the data in the input mask will be submitted to us and saved.

This data is:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Your message

Also, the following data will be saved at the time the message is sent:

  • Time stamp (sender’s date and time)
  • Performed actions

For the data’s processing, your approval will be gathered within the sending procedure and the data privacy statement will be pointed out.

Alternatively, contacting through the given mail address is possible. In this case, the user’s personal data which is submitted by email, will be saved.

In this context, the data will not be passed to third parties. The data will only be used for processing the conversations.

The personal data handling from the input mask will only be used to process the contacting. In the case of contacting via email, the essential justifiable interest lies in data handling.

The other personal data handling during the sending procedure is necessary to prevent the misuse of the contact form and to ensure the guarantee of our information-technological systems.

Duration of the storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve its purpose. For the personal data of the contact form’s input mask and out of the email transmission, it will be the case, when the current contact with the user has ended. A conversation will be considered ended, when it is possible to take from the circumstances that the concerned matter is fully clarified.

The user has the possibility to revoke his approval to process his personal data handling at any time. If the user contacts us, there will be the possibility to disagree with one’s personal data storage at any time. In this case, the conversation cannot be continued.

Encryption of this web site (HTTPS)

For safely submitting your personal data, we use TLS (Transport Layer Security). It is an encryption protocol for safe data submission on the internet. You recognise the usage of this technology on the addition https:// in front of the IP address, as well as on the symbol in the browser (for example green lock).

Your rights

Due to the regulations of the GDPR and the Austrian data privacy statement (DSG), you have the following rights:

  • Right to correction (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to deletion („Right to be forgotten“) (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to notification – obligation to notify in context of the personal data’s correction or deletion or restriction of processing (Art. 19 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right of objection (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • The right to not be subject of exclusively automatic processing – including profiling – on a basing decision (Art. 22 GDPR)

If you have the feeling that your personal data handling is breaking the law of the data privacy statement or if your claim got infringed in terms of the data protection law, you can always file a complaint at the surveillance authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
